"Possibly the most beautiful comic I have read this year and most definitely the most visually pleasing book BOOM! has ever published.", this is how it's starting... Doesn't even match a hug from my daughters, but still a nice start for a day to read some stuff like that ;)

Rien de comparable avec le bonheur de prendre mes filles dans les bras, mais c'est quand même sympa de lire ça de bon matin ;)

Long time no news, so here we go... Still working on the second issue of Salvador. I'm a little bit late on it, but I hope that the waiting will be worth it. The F(r)iend project still going fine (but still more than 100 pages to draw before November !). Did a 11 pages story with the Great Chris Ryall on the first issue of the Gene Simmons House of Horrors (for the ones who lived in a cave for the last 50 years, Gene Simmons is the singer and co-founder of the band KISS, amoung a thousand other things). I'm really happy that I finally had the chance to work on a Chris Ryall script.
Je n'avais pas donné de nouvelles depuis un petit moment, donc c'est parti : Je suis sur le deuxième episode de Salvador. Le premier doit être sorti ces jours-ci, ce qui veut donc dire que je suis un peu à la bourre... Le projet F(r)iend avec le grand Antoine Ozanam chez KSTR suit toujours son cour. J'ai aussi dessiné, sur un scenario de Chris Ryall, une histoire de 11 pages pour le premier numero de House of Horrors de Gene Simmons (co-createur et chanteur du groupe KISS... Excusez du peu...). Très content d'avoir eu la chance de finalement travailler avec Chris en tant que scenariste (qui est déjà, à mon sens, un des, sinon le meilleur editeur avec qui j'ai pu travailler).

First Picture
Here is my first post with picture. It's the -A- variant cover (there's 2 different ones for each issue, both from me) of the first episode of the mini-serie -Lost On Mission-, at Boom! Studios. The first issue is coming out in March. Mon premier post avec image. Voici une des deux couvertures de la série -Lost On Mission- chez Boom! Studios. C'est une mini série en 5 volumes avec pour chaque épisode 2 couv différentes réalisées par moi. Premier numéro en Mars.
Happy New Year
I finally did it !!! It was already one of the resolutions I had for the last New Year, but you know how it is with resolutions... However, it seems like this year a lot of things are finally happening... So here is my blog.
The new year starts like the previous one ended for me... A huge amount of work.
The big difference this year, is that I don't do colour jobs anymore, except on my own drawings of course. I'm gonna work on more interesting projects (even if I had some really nice ones last year too, like all the stuff on the -Angel- universe).
So a lot of new stuff is coming up (books, covers...), from the both sides of the Atlantic Ocean, some interviews and other things -nothing that I'm allowed to show yet-.
So Happy New Year, and soon, an update with pictures for all my fans (my mom and the baker)
Comme ça pète et qu'on est là pour ça, mon blog est donc bilingue. Comme je l'ai dit plus haut, je me suis finalement bougé pour créer mon blog après de nombreuses demandes (une ou deux en fait).
La nouvelle année s'annonce très chargée niveaux boulot, mais il semblerait que j'ai réussi a finalement avoir une majorité de projets funs et motivants (ce qui s'explique entre autre par mon arrêt des couleurs pour les autres).
Plusieurs projets bien sympas donc, aux US comme en Europe. Bientôt plus d'infos (quand j'aurai le droit) et des visuels (si j'y arrive, saleté d'internet)
Donc Bonne Année aux 3 internautes qui me liront, et à bientôt...
